Much to Ian’s excitement his cousin Mike arrived so Ian had some time off work and with Emma met Mike and Alice at the airport. While they were all catching up in London I went to the first evening of the Balloon festival, which is quite a big event with bands on stage, fair rides, fireworks and of course the main event the odd shape hot air balloons setting off. There was pints, a jaguar, flying scotsman (and yes you could see what was under his kilt), liquorice allsort man and many more. Friday night I headed into London to finally meet this much talked about Cousin and for a party at Alice’s brothers place.
