Had another busy month with a visit to Edinburgh to see Brett & Jill, who took us to see Sterling castle, the Falkirk wheel and along the Fife coast up to St Andrews. Brett talked Ian into buying a power kite (with very little persuasion I might add) so they both flew their kites on the beach. A work social club trip took us to the greyhound races, which was very cool, we even manage to come away with a few quid profit. Another social club trip was a day at Alton towers, a hugh theme park with awesome rides particularly the oblivion, it was a beautiful day so even getting soaked wasn’t bad. Also this month we had Mike, Alice & Carrie (who we met in Edinburgh) stay with us so we did a bit of tripping round in Bristol & Bath even managing another maize maze, this time in the shape of a cow.
